'massive' + 'online' is THE best thing possible out there. simply put, your sure to get your hit/fix of everything your searching in games to fullfil yourself.
but its the same with anything addictive. you take in so much of it to satisfy your needs of irrational heights up to a point when it all stops making any sense. having sad that, less WoW is more WoW.
now I may be going off topic a bit here, but there is just something people have to put in mind here. I say screw the gaming industry up to 2007... I say screw the gaming industry to whatever point in time you need - but sooner or later I find it quite possible that the ultimate virtual experience will be made possible. what happens then when you get the majority locked inside some world outside of the real one? what we really don't need now is the possibility of people playing inside their characters, rather than behind the monitor screen - just think how messed up with WoW would everyone be then

?????
we can debate around how poor in content or discontinuous in it's gameplay WoW is, but when it comes down to so-called "zombification" - there's really not much to discuss here. no one is imposing upon anyone how to organize their lives, or forcing anyone into something. if they waste their life into playing games it's their own choice. if you don't think you can handle it, then don't try it at all.
